Universal Balancing Quality Policy

 

Universal Balancing Limited has many services that are offered to a wide range of customers. We are dedicated to producing quality products and services to satisfy the needs of our customers by the application and continual improvement of our management systems. This policy is formulated, and is subject to Management Review, to ensure its continuing suitability and effectiveness.

 

We are totally committed to meeting the requirements of our customers and will achieve this through the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System which satisfies the requirements of ISO 9000:2000. This is evidenced by documented procedures, targets and objectives and measures of performance that are subject to internal audits, annual review and independent audits by recognised bodies and our customers.

 

Quality Targets and Objectives will normally be set by the annual Management Review or by actions from audits. These targets and objectives will be clearly communicated to all employees and ownership assigned to the responsibility for their achievement.

Increased response time to our customers, delivery on time in full and reduction of internal and supplier rejects/ defects are our priority.

Our procedures are documented to ensure compliance with all requirements concerning business processes and their impact on Quality. It is a mandatory condition of employment that all employees follow appropriate procedures at all times.

Ultimate responsibility for the Quality Management System for ensuring that it is documented, implemented and maintained is that of the Machinery Director (Gary Elliott), who is the Management Representative for Quality, but quality is the responsibility of everyone in the organisation. It is the responsibility of Universal Balancing to provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement this policy.

This policy has been communicated to all employees.

Every part of our balance machines will have been fully inspected on one of our CMM (Co-ordinate measuring machine inspection machines using the latest Virtual Dmis windows software. This process ensures all parts are to the highest quality and exact to the original design tolerances.

Virtual DMIS Pro+ is for users who work without CAD models. Virtual DMIS Pro+ offers the ideal solution, with 3D part graphics being created as you measure with FULL DMIS Read and Write capability. Features can be selected from the graphic viewer for subsequent analysis. The full range of functionality provides a powerful metrology solution including High Level Language support for advanced programming capabilities and optional MS-Excel spreadsheet integration.
