Further advantages of Unibal's NR systems are the requirement for only minimal guarding and clamp-free, self-centring tooling. Furthermore, as components do not need to be accelerated and decelerated during readings, operating costs are minimised and cycle times are slashed to little more than that required for loading and unloading. The equipment's lack of moving parts also ensures minimal maintenance downtime, as well as reliable performance over an extended service life.
The new balancers are particularly suitable for components such as automotive brake discs, drums, fans or 'green' grinding wheels and can be easily integrated within high volume production operations or manufacturing cells, with full data logging if required. A further range of I/O options can also be specified to meet individual application requirements.
Unibal NR series units are supplied complete with PC and touch screen display and will output results either as the amount and position of material to be removed from the component, or to be added to it to bring it into balance. In addition, the system's advanced controls and software are ideal for retrofit applications - enabling latest generation performance and accuracy to be achieved from customers' existing balancing equipment. |
