With our history originating back over 50 years to the original Jackson & Bradwell company. Jackson & Bradwell were based in Birmingham England and produced a wide variety of machines that have now progressed to Universal Balancing modern market leading machines of today. The first Jackson & Bradwell machines were mechanical resonance machines which were purely mechanical this later developed into electronic direct reading machines with hard suspension.
In the early 1980's Jackson & Bradwell changed to BTD Ltd. BTD further developed the measuring system to use solid state electronics then progression to PC based systems using DOS the BTD-UNI32. In 1996 Universal Balancing became sister companies with BTD and worked on many joint projects and developments. Universal Balancing brought new ideas and modern business principles. In 2004 merged BTD within Universal Balancing and relocated staff, development, software and equipment to Universal Balancing's Bristol head quarters.
In 2002 the Market Leading unbeatable BTD-UNI44 Windows based 4 Channel measuring instrument was released this was possible because of a long line of history. |
