Vertical Balancing machines can be supplied as pure single plane static measuring machines which are most common or 2 plane dynamic machines that can measure either static or dynamic unbalance. Automation of Horizontal, Vertical, Non-rotate & Upgraded equipment is possible to the generic design of UniBal’s world famous UNI-44 windows based measuring instrument and controls package. If correction can be made on the machine or integrated in a separate correction station then the UNI-44 can provide a semi or fully automated process. The most popular vertical automated machines have correction by either drilling or milling, the most popular horizontal machines are machines that remove metal by drilling i.e.. crankshafts and rotors. Automation is split into 2 levels semi or full automation, the difference being that fully automatic machines have an integrated handling system to eliminate the operator even loading/unloading the machine.
